OREANDA-NEWS. June 07, 2010. The Government plans from next year to balance revenues and expenditures of the State budget. This was stated by Prime Minister Mykola Azarov, presenting at the Verkhovna Rada session the draft Law of Ukraine "On the principle of external and internal policy of Ukraine".

"For the next year we will be able to balance all the expenditures and revenues" - the Prime Minister hoped, having added that, for today, the Government is still climbing out "from the debt deadlock, left by the previous government".

In this case, Mykola Azarov said that the Government plans to direct revenues from privatization to modernization of the economy, technical re-equipment, investment component of the Ukrainian economy. "We should stop spending money from privatization to mend holes in the State budget" - he stressed.
