OREANDA-NEWS. June 07, 2010. At the joint Shareholders’ Meeting of JSC "Belarussian Industrial Bank" and JSC "Technobank" the decision about reorganization of both financial institutions was made. On the 25th of May the documents, necessary for the registration of united bank, were presented to the National bank of the Republic of Belarus. The united bank will have the name JSC "Technobank". This name was approved by the shareholders as the most successful by the reason of brand recognition, which is characterized by permanent perfection of banking technologies, good sounding and laconism, that is convenient for advertising, reported the press-centre of Belarussian Industrial Bank.

The major shareholders of the bank are physical persons – citizens of Belarus. As agreed among the shareholders, the control packet of shares will belong to the shareholders of JSC "Belarussian Industrial Bank".

Therefore, at the market there will be bank with private Belarusian capital of more than 25 million euro, and this bank will have the whole range of license authorization of two united banks. The bank will be represented at the capital city, as well as at the regional centres due to branch net of JSC "Belarussian Industrial Bank".

Bank’s shareholders, being the representatives of Belarusian business and understanding well the needs of the customers at the market, will contribute to the maintenance of the bank’s policy, aimed at support and development of its customers’ business. The merger of the banks will allow to widen the range of services, to heighten the quality of services, as well as to offer the wide crediting possibility to the customers. The bank will adhere to flexible and beneficial policy for the customers.

The united bank will represent the wide range of services to the customers. The bank (the only one at the republic) performs operations with electronic money at the WebMoney Transfer system, makes the refund payments of VAT at TAX FREE cheques. Physical persons can execute money transfers via international payment systems Western Union, Anelik, Migom, MoneyGram, Contact and Unistream, by choosing the most appropriate terms in regard to cost and speed of transfer. At the same time, the bank will continue activity at the markets of plastic cards and of deposits, by offering the favourable and flexible terms of payment execution and of funds deposits.

Reorganized JSC "Technobank" will pay initial attention to the maintaining the norms of liquidity, adequacy of equity and other norms of safety functioning, set up for the banks by the National bank of the Republic of Belarus. The policy of JSC "Tecnobank" will be aimed at the stable and permanent development with taking into the account the customers’ and shareholders’ interests. During the first two years of its activity the bank plans to capitalize its profit, that will contribute to the increase of normative capital and will open the new possibilities for enlargement in the activity.
