The campaign participants watched a play about faith in goodness and hope for the best, Oscar and the Lady in Pink, staged by the Moscow Moon Theater. The actors engaged in the play were both professionals and children. The theater lobby housed a photo exhibition dedicated to children whose cancer had been cured and a selling exhibition of children’s creative works.

“This was not the first campaign organized for seriously ill children by the Foundation and United Metallurgical Company,” said President of Board of Trustees of OMK-Uchastiye Irina Sedykh speaking at the press conference. “From the time of the Foundation’s establishment, we have raised more than 14 million rubles. These donations helped to save dozens of children’s lives. Our policy is about letting seriously ill children and their parents know that there are always people around who are willing to help even at the time of economic turbulence. We understand how difficult it is for families whose children become seriously ill. For these children, every new day brings another chance of hope, patience, and faith.”
“It is only right that Chairman of the OMK Board of Directors Anatoly Sedykh also serves as Presi-dent of the OMK-Uchastiye Charitable Foundation,” emphasized Aleksandr Tsapin, Minister of In-ternal Policy for the Nizhni Novgorod Region and Chairman of the Nizhni Novgorod Region Chari-table Council. “OMK intensively develops its production activities. The Company rehabilitated its existing workshops and built two new manufacturing facilities. Combining this business with chari-table activities should serve as a model for all high-profile entities. We deeply appreciate the cam-paign conducted by the Company and its good example!”
