OREANDA-NEWS. June 04, 2010. Krasnoye Sormovo Shipyard (MNP Group) and Turkmendenizderyayellary (Turkmenian Sea and River Shipping Company) signed a contract for construction of third tanker of about 7000 DWT. In April, 2010 Krasnoye Sormovo Shipyard won a tender for construction a tanker.

Basic specifications of the vessel: Maximum length is 141.4 m, breadth – 16.84 m, depth – 6.82 m, deadweight – about 7100 tons (in sea, with draught 4.6 m) and 4700 tons (in river, with draught 3.6 m), capacity of 12 cargo and two slop tanks – 8,256 cubic m, main engine power - 2х1200 kW, speed – 10.5 knots.

The Krasnoye Sormovo Shipyard has already constructed two tankers for Turkmendenizderyayellary. The first tanker "Sumbar" was handed over to the customer in August, 2009; the second ship "Hazar" - in October, 2009.
