OREANDA-NEWS. June 04, 2010. The Gazprom headquarters hosted today a working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Company’s Management Committee and Kunio Noji, President of Komatsu Ltd.

The parties exchanged opinions with regard to promoting cooperation in applying Komatsu machinery and equipment, including that produced in Russia, at Gazprom’s facilities.

Japanese Komatsu Ltd. is a largest global producer of construction, mining and industrial machinery and equipment.

Gazprom utilizes super-heavy dozers, excavators, pipelayers, and other quarry equipment of Komatsu Ltd. to perform construction work in a challenging environment of the Extreme North when laying pipelines, building roads and removing large quantities of soil and rock.
