Yeniseyskaya TGC Decreased Volume of Hazardous Emissions

JSC “Yeniseyskaya TGC (TGC-13)” is the largest company in the region providing 84% of the need of heat energy for the industrial complex and population and a significant volume of electric power of the territory. Owing to the specific character of production the company’s activity influences negatively on the environment.
The company realizing fully the risks of the negative impact on the environment undertook a complex of obligations by these risks minimizing. In the company accepted “The ecological policy” in which the main plans and activity trends are fixed as to environment protection.
In 2009 Yeniseyskaya TGC spent RUR 155 million for environmental protection measures. Over half of this sum - RUR 84 million was directed for the arrangements of
Among the most significant projects implemented in 2009 one can single out the modernization of the cyclone cell system BTSU of boiler unit # 15 at Krasnoyarsk TPP-1. The result was the decrease of gross emissions of nonorganic dust by 930 tons per year.
Besides that the company’s enterprises held the arrangements by repair of different kind of gas-cleaning equipment, hydraulic sluicing systems and waste treatment plant by the organization of safe disposal of waste, by the recultivation of lands after holding of repairs of heat networks etc.
The primary arrangements of 2010 are the works by modernization of cyclone cell system BTSU of boiler units # 12 and 16 and the gas-cleaning equipment at the ash loading unit of Krasnoyarsk TPP-1. As a result a decrease of gross nonorganic dust emissions by 1500 tons per year will be reached. The construction of waste treatment plants of industrial rain-storm runoffs will be continued at Krasnoyarsk TPP-2. The development of design projects of sanitary protection areas and protective sanitary zones of water supply sources of TPP-1, TPP -2, TPP -3 has begun.
Besides the hat the company continues the works by involvement of developing dust coal of ashes to be used as secondary material resources.
An important attention is also paid at the arrangements by protection of atmospheric air.
