OREANDA-NEWS. June 03, 2010. Nikolay M. Glazkov, former Head of the Company's Department of Capital Construction, has been appointed as Deputy General Director for capital construction of OAO TATNEFT, reported the press-centre of TATNEFT.

Mr. Glazkov was born in 1960 in Alkino village of Zainsk Region (Republic of Tatarstan). In 1988 he graduated from Kazan Engineering and Construction Institute specializing in industrial and civil construction.

He began his career at SMU 51 (a construction company), where he rose to become Head of the company. From 1999 to 2005 he worked as Deputy Administration Head of Almetyevsk Region and the city of Almetyevsk on construction and communication, then the first Deputy Administration Head of the city. Since 2005 till his new appointment he was working as Head of the Capital Construction Department of OAO TATNEFT.

He has a number of governmental, industry and corporate awards, and he is an Honored Builder of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan.

Construction is one of the components of OAO TATNEFT's production activity. The Company deals not only with development of oil fields, but also with large-scale construction of industrial facilities and public buildings in the southeast of Tatarstan.

Construction of TANECO complex of refineries and petrochemical plants in Nizhnekamsk has been one of the key projects of recent years. Management Company Glavneftegazstroyservis was established on the basis of OAO TATNEFT's construction divisions in 2006. In 2009, the company completed construction works under the general contract for the amount of 10.1 billion rubles.

The work of oil builders resulted in the construction of the trunk pipeline 118 km long, which connected Kaleykino oil pumping station (Almetyevsk Region of the Republic of Tatarstan), which is part of Transneft, system with TANECO complex being built in Nizhnekamsk. For the purpose of increasing transportation volume of diesel fuel in connection with construction TANECO complex refineries and petrochemical plants in Nizhnekamsk OAO TATNEFT also performs reconstruction works of the trunk pipeline "Nizhnekamsk - Almetyevsk - Kstovo", which also part of the OAO AK Transneft system.
