OREANDA-NEWS. June 03, 2010. The three largest MOD payments made by ROSNO in April 2010 amounted to 9.5 mln roubles in total. All three insured accidents occurred in Moscow, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

Two payments have been made for stolen cars. One of such theft cases occurred in the night on Leninsky Avenue, where the BMW X6, manufactured in 2009 and purchased on loan, was stolen. In this case, insurance compensation of 3,802,020 roubles has been remitted to the bank originating the loan used to purchase the vehicle. A similar insured accident, involving stealage of a vehicle parked for the night near the owner’s house, happened to the owner of a Range Rover, manufactured in 2008. The vehicle was stolen from Serafimovicha Street, with the theft being discovered next morning. ROSNO paid the vehicle owner 2,845,392 roubles.

Another vehicle insured with ROSNO, Land Rover Range Rover Sport, manufactured in 2008, got in a traffic accident at the 81st km of the Don Highway. A traffic emergency occurring in front of the vehicle forced the Range Rover driver to slam the brakes, causing the vehicle in the rear to struck the Range Rover, with the latter subsequently colliding with the vehicle stopped in the front. The sustained mechanical damage resulted in a constructive loss of the vehicle, and it was recognized as damaged beyond repair. The insurance compensation of 2,851,479 roubles was paid to the owner, a private individual.
