OREANDA-NEWS. June 02, 2010. Gazpromneft-Finance LLC (100% subsidiary of Gazprom Neft) became a holder of a 50% share in Bennfield Limited. Bennfield Ltd., in its turn, holds a 25.66% share in Sibir Energy (SE).

Sibir Energy Plc (SE) is a vertically-integrated oil company with a daily oil production of over 80 thousand barrels. SE's assets include, among others, Magma oil company and a 50% share in Salym Petroleum Development (a joint venture with Shell). By controlling the Moscow Refinery and having an extensive network of storage depots and petrol stations in Moscow and nearby districts, Sibir Energy has a significant impact on the petroleum product market of Moscow region.
