OREANDA-NEWS. June 02, 2010. Tethys Petroleum Limited ('Tethys' of the "Company' (TSX:TPL) is informing on resumed production of gas on Kyzyloy deposit in Kazakhstan, reported the press-centre of KASE.

Intergas Central Asia, a unit of national company KazTrans Gas, informed Tethys, supply of gas to gas pipeline 'Bukhara-Ural' may be resumed after ICA resolves technical issues in the system. The first stage of gas production on the Kyzyloy/Akkylkovskoe deposit currently is supplying inflow of 500,000 cubic meters of gas from Kyzyloy deposit daily with supply into gas pipeline 'Bukhara-Ural at a compressor station of Tethys, 23 kilometers to the south from the underground gas storage Bozoy; gas is sold under a long-term contract with mandatory payment at refusal of supply.
