Under the project the SCM Group's senior managers deliver brand new master classes for the Ukrainian students to help them gain knowledge and skills vital for building a career today. All master classes come from the practical experience of senior managers at SCM Group and other biggest businesses in
FormulaS officially started following a pilot season, which had begun on 9 April 2010 with master class The Art of Communications taught by Natalia Yemchenko, Director of Public Relations and Communications, SCM. The pilot season saw also a number of other master classes, in particular The Art of Public Speaking, by Jock Mendoza-Wilson, Director of International and Investor Relations, SCM; Negotiations, by Ilya Arkhipov, Director of Business Development, SCM and Social Marketing by Anatoliy Zabolotny, Director, Rinat Akhmetov's Foundation for Development of Ukraine. All in all, over 650 students of
Gleb Arkhangelskiy, a renowned Russian expert in time management, took part in the presentation of FormulaS and delivered a personal master class, Time Management: Having Time to Live and Work.
Natalia Yemchenko, Director of Public Relations and Communications at SCM, shared her view on the new project: "We hope that FormulaS project will help the students understand expectations of employers, set priorities in their studies, start to develop the skills of public speaking, eloquence, time management, leadership and negotiations. These are the skills and knowledge that graduates lack today. We have completed the pilot season and that's just a start. I believe that lectures from practitioners must be a must in the Ukrainian universities and our project is just the first steps in this direction".
