Gazprom Held Meeting on Large-Diameter Pipes Supply
OREANDA-NEWS. May 31, 2010. Alexander Ananenkov, Deputy Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee held a meeting at the Company’s headquarters dedicated to large-diameter pipes supply in 2010 through to 2012 for meeting the Company’s needs.
Taking part in the meeting were Igor Fyodorov, Member of the Gazprom Management Committee, Director General of Gazprom komplektasiya, as well as heads and experts from Gazprom’s specialized subdivisions.
The meeting was also attended by representatives from Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK), United Metallurgical Company (OMK), Izhora Pipe Plant, ChTPZ Group and Pipe Manufacturers Association.
The meeting participants addressed the progress in implementing the schedule for the supply of domestically manufactured large-diameter pipes in 2010. Special attention was paid to the actions aimed at timely delivery of pipes to the top-priority gas transmission projects such as the Bovanenkovo – Ukhta gas trunkline system, the Sakhalin – Khabarovsk – Vladivostok gas transmission system and the Dzhubga – Lazarevskoye – Sochi gas pipeline. It was noted that Gazprom timely and fully paid for the current supplies of pipe products.
In addition, the meeting discussed the potential supplies of large-diameter pipes to perform the capital construction and repair of gas trunklines in 2011–2012, as well as the relevant issues of pipe manufacturing development in Russia.
Based on the meeting results, Gazprom’s specialized subdivisions and subsidiary companies were entrusted with the tasks aimed at meeting the deadlines of large-diameter pipes delivery in 2010, as well as preparing the supply schedule for 2011–2012.
