OREANDA-NEWS. May 31, 2010. SOCAR president Mr. Rovnag Abdullayev and other representatives of the Company management attended “Azerikimya” PU, visited departments and enterprises of the Union and considered the ways of taking the reconstruction measures together with the specialists. First, SOCAR president attended the “Organic Synthesis” plant on Baku-Guba highway.

Afterwards, he was presented the primary measures taken on stabilization of the condition in the chemical industry, drafts and initial proposals on establishment of the chemical techno-park, as well as was informed on construction works to be carried out there. The Company president Mr. Rovnag Abdullayev commissioned the corresponding bodies on establishment of the chemical techno-park being important for perspective development of the whole Azerbaijani industry. Afterwards, representatives of SOCAR management get acquainted with the current situation of the technological plants of the “Organic Synthesis” and Ethylene-polyethylene plants and mentioned importance of the demounting works to be carried out in the shops and fields not functioning and not corresponding to the modern standards. Later, there was held a meeting headed by Mr. Rovnag Abdullayev at “Azerikimya” PU.

During the meeting, the event participants discussed the development perspectives of the chemistry complex focused in Sumgait city, reconstruction of the industrial fields on the basis of the advanced technologies, increase in product variety and correspondence of the quality to the international standards, and made relative decisions. SOCAR president gave commissions on expansion of the activities of “Azerikimya” PU and increase of production volume of the demanded chemical products in the country and on other issues, and pointed out that SOCAR will take every possible measure in prompt solution of any problem to arise.
