"The space project is the most important priority for our bilateral cooperation" - the Ambassador said and expressed his hope that it will be successful. In this case, Antonio Fernando Cruz de Mello said that in Ukraine and Brazil, the issue needs more publicity in the media. Ambassador informed about the need to hold a cycle of presentations, together with Ukrainian Central Design Institute, which is the main developer of this space project, and the Dnepropetrovsk plant Yuzhmash in the National Congress, the Academy of Science, Ministry of Defence of Brazil and other interested institutions during the second half of this year. He also said that Brazil expects the visit of leadership of the Central Design Institute and the plant Yuzhmash for marketing promotion of the mission.

Mykola Azarov noted that having built its own spaceport, Brazil would become one of the five States, which are able to launch spacecraft from their territory, and the price of launch from equator is cheaper by one third – that means that Brazil will have advantage from the very beginning.
