OREANDA-NEWS. May 31, 2010. Sviaz-Bank has been named winner in two lots of a public auction held for a contract totaling 1 billion rubles to be provided in a line of credit to Sibirtelecom OJSC, reported the press-centre of Sviaz-Bank.

The credit lines will have a draw down period of 36 months. Sibirtelecom OJSC will use the borrowed funds to finance its current operations.
 
Sibirtelecom OJSC is Siberia’s biggest telecommunications operator. The company controls over 34% of the total market, 79% and 97% of the markets for traditional services of the local wire telephony and intrazonal communications, respectively, 58% of the market for Internet access services, and 21% of the region’s mobile communications market.
