OREANDA-NEWS. May 27, 2010. Commodity output of Belarus’ OAO Svetlogorsk cellulose and cardboard plant (CCP), located in the Gomel Region, increased 8.8% year-on-year in January-March 2010 to 55.334 billion Belarusian rubles (Br), an official with the plant told.

Corrugated container output increased 17.2% on the year in the period to 26.441 million square meters. Corrugated cardboard output amounted to 13.55 million tonnes, down 1.3%, and cardboard output went up 4.4% to 29,137 square meters.

The company’s sales proceeds went up 28.1% to 52.379 billion rubles.

Exports rose 18.4% in January-March to USD 7.244 million

Svetlogorsk CCP is the only producer of pulp in Belarus.
