OREANDA-NEWS. May 27, 2010. Complex Drilling Works Trust hosted scientific-practical seminar on theme “Use of modern well technology and equipments” at SOCAR Head office. The event was attended by the Trust management, engineer and technical staff, as well as representatives of contractor drilling companies operating in the country.

The representatives of the US “APS” Company presented the “Steerable motor”, “MWD”, “PWD”, “WRP” and “RSM” devices and equipments and gave detailed information on them. After discussions and debates there was mentioned the preparation and training of the experts to use these devices and equipments during the drilling works. It was also noted that this issue would be considered within a month. At the end of the seminar, holding such events was estimated as a new stage to the international level of drilling works by benefiting from advanced technology.
