FAS Initiated Case against Privolzhie Office of Rostechnadzor
OREANDA-NEWS. May 27, 2010. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) initiated a case against the Privolzhie Office of the Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Control (the Privolzhie Office of Rostechnadzor) for the signs of violating Part 1 Article 15 of the Federal Law "On Protection of Competition", reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.
FAS Russia received a complaint from "Ecolog-Ch" Ltd. regarding actions of the Privolzhie Office of Rostechnadzor, which had unreasonably refused to grant a licence for waste collection, use, neutralization, transportation and disposal (I - IV classes of hazard) in the Republic of Chuvashia.
FAS Russia suspects that the Privolzhie Office of Rostechnadzor violated the antimonopoly law.
The case is scheduled for 4th June 2010.

Article 15 of the Federal Law "On Protection of Competition" prohibits competition-restricting acts and actions (omissions) of the federal executive bodies, the authorities of the constituent territories of the Russian Federation, local self-government bodies, other bodies or organizations exercising the functions of the above bodies, as well as state extra-budgetary funds, and the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.
