OREANDA-NEWS. May 26, 2010. Belarus’ gross domestic product (GDP) expanded 6.1% on the year in January-April 2010 to 43.488 trillion v rubles (Br), an official with Belarus’ National Statistics Committee told.

Industrial output in January-April increased 6.1% on the year to 45.883 trillion rubles.

Farm output rose 5.4% to 4.936 trillion rubles.

In 2009, Belarus’ GDP grew 0.2% on the year to 136.8 trillion Belarusian rubles. Industrial output amounted to 123.2 trillion rubles, down 2.8% on the year. Farm output increased 1.3% to 26.5 trillion rubles.
