OREANDA-NEWS. May 26, 2010. The annual meeting of  CJSC "Unibank" share-holders has taken place which has summed up bank work in 2009. During the meeting the annual report and the annual accounting reporting of the bank for 2009, distribution of profit by results of the fiscal year have been confirmed, reported the press-centre of Unibank.

"The past year was difficult for the whole banking system. 2009 can be divided into three periods conditionally: the beginning of the year - the uncertain period, the middle of the year - the period of re-structuring of credits and relative stability, the end of the year - the period of active crediting. We have tested on ourselves the action of many negative factors, but we managed to overcome successfully the difficulties and to reduce the influence of the crisis phenomena to minimum possible level. "Unibank" has provided performance of all planned targets which have been put in pawn for 2009 and has fixed the positions in the leading five of the RA banking system RA", - the chairman of  Executive Board of  “Unibank” Vardan Atayan has told.

In 2009  "Unibank" has shown the stable growth in all directions of activity. On the end of the year bank assets have exceeded 108 billiard drams, having increased in comparison with 2008 by 59 %. Growth of credit investments has made 40 %, volume of credits - 66.7 billiard drams. Urgent deposits of individuals in bank have made 45.5 billion drams, urgent deposits of legal entities - 10.7 billion drams.

The volume of deposits poste restante in accounting year has grown by 15.4 %, having made 12 billiard drams. The quantity of operations on servicing for the fiscal year has made 1.7 million drams. Quantity of active cards has reached from 24 thousand to 36 thousand. For a year the bank has established 14 ATM and 123 POS-terminals, having finished their quantity, accordingly, to 63 and 495. The share of "Unistream" transfers amounts over half of the market of Armenia.

The positions of  "Unibank"  in the RA banking system, by the results of 2009, are the following: assets - the 5th  place; the general credit investments - the 5th place; crediting of individuals - the 2nd place; mortgage crediting - the 2nd place; autocrediting - the 1st place; urgent deposits - the 1st place; transfers-the 1st place.
