Azerbaijan Sets up Centre for Marketing Information & Communications
OREANDA-NEWS. May 25, 2010. Within the World Bank-government project the Azerbaijan Marketing Society is working over a project of the Centre for Marketing Information & Communications (MICH).
The Society informs that the project sets a goal to create modern information system of the market able to ensure due and actual market terms on the entire territory of Azerbaijan.
MICH creates and supports the market based on IVR-SMS and technical process of information exchange. Analysis of market tendencies and forecasts presented by MICH is accessible through website.
The objective of MICH is to provide access to upgraded market information through mobile telephone (IVR, service of brief messages - SMS), e-mail or fax. Potential clients of MICH are small and medium business, producers and horticulturists, distributors and buyers involved in agriculture. 39% of the Azerbaijani employed population are involved in farm sector and can be potential customers of MICH.
MICH clients will receive information through website and mobile phones on the basis of IVR Call Center – user will dial a brief number and receive guidelines from IVR for available versions of information. The user will receive back SMS answers to his mobile phone number. The user will also have an opportunity to subscribe for separate groups of services by choosing a relevant option of IVR calls.
Depending on products and type of market products, the subscriber will be sent wholesale and retail prices from at least three sellers in each chosen market of goods.
