OREANDA-NEWS. May 25, 2010. From May 2010 the service of wireless broadband Internet access "Megaline Mobile 3G" using USB-modem expands its geography. Now residents of Almaty and Astana, Karaganda, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Aktau, Atyrau and Aktobe can use "Megaline Mobile 3G" by new tariff plans. An accent has been made to batch connection that is batch “Megaline Connect” has been implemented as other Kazakhtelecom JSC services, reported the press-centre of Kazakhtelecom.

EV-DO (3G) technology is used to provide "Megaline Mobile 3G", that is expanding of traditional CDMA. Kazakhtelecom JSC realizes this project on providing wireless Internet access jointly with 'ALTEL” JSC on base on EV-DO (Evolution-Data Optimized), used in cellular communication networks of CDMA for data transfer. EV-DO technology allows expanding existing services of broadband Internet access "Megaline" by providing mobile access. Alamty became starting platform for this project realization, where this service had been launched in 2009. At present about 53 EV-DO base stations are installed by the republic. It is planned to provide the service in other oblast centers of Kazakhstan in 2011.

Today the following tariff plans "Megaline Mobile Start", "Megaline Mobile Plus", "Megaline Mobile Econom" and а batch connection "Megaline Connect" are oferred to individuals and entrepreneurs.

At batch connection of wire "Megaline Hit" and wireless “Megaline Mobile" a subscriber can use services on profitable conditions and be connected in various cities by the republic, where this services is active. You economize over 2000 tenge.

Access speed by tariff plans "Megaline Mobile Start", "Megaline Mobile Plus", "Megaline Mobile Econom" by incoming /outgoing channels is dynamically (adaptively depending on technical parameters of data transfer network) changes up to 256 Kbit /s / 256 Кbit/s, at that min access speed by incoming /outgoing channel is not secured and depends on base station location, remoteness from base station, quality of a signal, load time, subscribers, served by base station at connection.

Amount of payment per each next 10 MB of incoming traffic composes 32,8 tenge VAT included.

“Considering clients' needs and broadband access integration we would like to spread services, - comments Timur Bulambayev, Executive sales director of Kazakhtelecom JSC. –Those subscribers, who use classic "Megaline" now can add their batch with mobile access by means of USB-modem. Thus, we integrated two access technologies under one brand "Megaline".

From May 2010 subscribers of Almaty, Astana, Karaganda, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Aktau, Atyrau and Aktobe EVDO (3G) modem with USB-interface, which looks like a flash card will be realized at Kazakhtelecom JSC branches at a price of 5 000 tenge and special conditions by tariff plan “Megaline Mobile Econom". At that installation of modem is rather easy and setups are enclosed to the set.
