OREANDA-NEWS. May 24, 2010. NPK RECOD and authorities of Kazan have signed a cooperative agreement which is aimed at enhancing introduction of space technologies for social and economical evolution of the region.  NPK RECOD will help the region with maintaining the safety of different transport systems in Kazan.

The agreement also implies establishment of the regional navigation and data center.  RECOD will deliver HW and SW for the Center, and test it together with local specialists.

Space Safety Corridor program is to be validated in the region. The project includes monitoring of the passenger transport the Federal highway M-7 through GLONASS/GPS systems. Following assessment of the test results, the decision about introduction of the system in the region is to be made.
