Nurbank Changed Major Shareholder
OREANDA-NEWS. May 24, 2010. The Nurbank's major shareholder changed. Last Friday Sofia Sarsenova bought a 75 % share in the bank, reported the press-centre of KASE.
Earlier, on April 26 FSA issued resolution No. 57 approving Ms Sarsenova to become a majority shareholder with a 10.29% share in the bank.
The shareholding related-changes will not entail substantial amendments to the bank strategy. The bank is pursuing to operate as a universal lender providing high quality services and products. Under the current strategy the bank finished Y2009 with KZT762 m net profit and is planning to reach KZT1 bn at the end of this year.

According to a copy of an extract from the share register available at KASE, as on April 1, 2010 the following shareholders are holding five or more percent of outstanding shares: D. Nazarbaeva (50.71 % of outstanding shares), S. Sarsenova (10.29 %), N. Aliev (5.98 %).
