FAS Russia Took Part at European Competition Day
OREANDA-NEWS. May 24, 2010. Madrid (Spain) hosted a Conference to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the European Competition Day, organized jointly by the Administration of Spanish Government in the European Union, the Spanish Ministry of Economics and Finance and the Spanish National Competition Commission. At the venue Russia was represented by Anatoly Golomolzin, Deputy Head of FAS Russia, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.
Other attendees included representatives of companies and trade organizations, consumer associations, academia and the state sector, including legal sector, legislatures and regulatory agencies, representatives of national competition authorities and international organizations.
The main objective of the conference was to inform society as well as persons dealing with the issues of competition, about the benefits and importance of the work carried out by competition authorities to enforce the antimonopoly law and developing competition in economies around the globe.
Participation of Anatoly Golomolzin in the venue makes a contribution to further development of bilateral relations between the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) and the Spanish National Competition Commission, which will have a positive impact upon advancement of competition policy in Spain and Russia.
