Representative of Klaipeda Port Attended International Seminar
OREANDA-NEWS. May 24, 2010. Economics and Finance Director Martynas Armonaitis attended the seminar organized in Rostock (Germany) which was dedicated to more extensive presentation of transport projects “East West Transport Corridor II“ (EWTC II) and “Scandria“ for regional industrial, logistic companies and their associations, reported the press-centre of Klaipeda Port.
Aim of participation in the present seminar – to encourage interest and support for German business in order to implement “EWTC II“ project. During the aforementioned seminar, Economics and Finance Director Martynas Armonaitis presented a report Klaipeda port competition on transit routes.
The present seminar was a part of the international event Baltic Future 2010. The event was aimed to discuss the prospects of development of transport sector in Baltic Sea Region. The programme Baltic Future 2010 included several dimensions. First – traditional international fair, which this year stresses sea wind energy, maritime logistics, shipping technologies and shipping industry. Second – different seminars which emphasize ferry development strategies and traffic optimization in Baltic Sea, funding of international business, possibilities of small and medium business and other questions.
