OREANDA-NEWS. May 21, 2010. The Tyumen Petroleum Research Center (a subsidiary of TNK-BP) is holding a science conference for young specialists. 32 employees of the center will take part in the conference, reported the press-centre of TNK-BP.

The large majority of the papers, a total of 27, will relate to geology and field development. The papers’ topics will be based on experiences gained while developing the Company’s multiple fields in the Yamalo-Nenetsky Autonomous District, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District, and the Tyumen, Irkutsk and Orenburg regions. Furthermore, young specialists will present papers on two other areas: IT and Industrial Automation and Oil and Gas Production.

The jury, which consists of management from the relevant sections and unit departments, will select winners. The winners will then present their papers at the regional stage of TNK-BP’s science conference in June. Papers that do not win a price will be awarded with a participation certificate.
