OREANDA-NEWS. May 20, 2010. About 250 companies from Moldova will participate in X forum of small and medium-sized enterprises, which will be held in Chisinau on May 26-29. The event will take place at the International Exhibition Center Moldexpo under the patronage of the Government, under the slogan “Innovation. Upgrading. Progressive Management”.

The organizers of the forum are the Ministry of Economy, IEC “Moldexpo”, Organization for development of small and medium-sized enterprises, Commerce and Industry Chamber and Chisinau City Hall. Its main objective is to support small and medium-sized enterprises and create favorable conditions for the development of competitive enterprises. Forum of small and medium-sized enterprises as an effective marketing tool shall help to promote goods and services at the Moldovan market, provide interaction with the companies from other countries and areas of activity, define local and foreign partners, as well as stimulate the exchange of experience to support the development of small and medium enterprises.

The forum will include: an exhibition of small and medium-sized enterprises, an international conference and contest the "Best Entrepreneur from the sector of small and medium-sized enterprises. The exhibition will present: food and beverages, industrial products and textiles, furniture, building materials, household chemical products, information, banking and credit services, etc.

The Republican contest: the "Best Entrepreneur from the sector of small and medium-sized enterprises" will include 10 nominations in the areas of: manufacturing, construction, trade, services, exports, innovation, crafts, a young entrepreneur, a woman-businessman, active integration into society. Currently, the share of small and medium-sized enterprises in Moldova is dominant in the country accounting for 97,6%.
