OREANDA-NEWS. May 19, 2010. On 28 April Gazprom VNIIGAZ hosted the YPFB delegation (Bolivia) headed by the President of the state-owned petroleum company YPFB Carlos Villegas.   

The Parties discussed main results of works performed by Gazprom VNIIGAZ specialists within the framework of the second stage of implementation of the Contract on “Elaboration of the Master Plan for the Bolivian gas industry development to 2030”.

At the meeting Gazprom VNIIGAZ General Director P.G. Tsybulskiy told Bolivian guests about the Institute’s activity and prospects and presented the main research Centres.

YPFB representatives learned about the infrastructure of Gazprom VNIIGAZ, opportunities of the 3D Visualization Centre, highly estimated the work of scientific group on development of 3D field models and use of space survey for studies of oil and gas bearing capacity of regions.

Finally, in the end the YPFB delegation visited the Museum of gas science history and technologies.
