BSTDB Provides Banca Sociala with Loan of USD8 mln
OREANDA-NEWS. May 19, 2010. The corresponding loan agreement was signed in Chisinau. After the signing of the document the vice-president of BSTDB Andrei Kondakov noted that it is the largest project implemented by the bank in Moldova.
Te funds are allocated for one year with possibility of extension for a longer period. The President of Banca Sociala Vladimir Suetnov stressed that the loan does not imply any strict restrictions and will be used within the frameworks of internal regulations of the bank. This is a second loan obtained by Banca Sociala from BSTDB.
The first loan worth 4 million euros was granted in 2007. BSTDB is an international financial institution established by Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Turkey and Ukraine, with the headquarters in Thessalonica. The total capital is 3 billion SBR (USD85 billion).
The total cost of the projects implemented by the bank in Moldova amounts to USD million. Currently, BSTDB is also funding Mobiasbanca, Moldova-Agroindbank and Procredit bank.
