OREANDA-NEWS. May 18, 2010. Heads of Russian Emergency, Internal Affairs, Federal Security Agencies will get familiar with the operations of ERA-GLONASS system in Moscow. Pilot demonstration of the security prompt response system is to be arranged at the Integrated Security – 2010 forum which opens on May 18.

The ERA-GLONASS system will be developed on the basis of GLONASS/GPS multifunctional receivers (telematics modules). ERA-GLONASS is to be used for emergency urgent response.
ERA-GLONASS will help reducing accidental death rate and budget expenses for emergency response.
