Firm ORGRES to Enhance Power Efficiency of in Novosibirsk
OREANDA-NEWS. May 18, 2010. Branch of JSC “EC UES” – “Firm ORGRES” – won in the tender announced by OAO “Management Company Sibir’energo”. “Firm ORGRES” will carry out an extraordinary energy inspection at OAO “Novosibirskgorteploenergo”. Project completion is scheduled for late November, 2010.
Work package to be completed by “Firm ORGRES” will include compilation of general characteristic of the facility – heat supply system of the city of Novosibirsk, analysis of actual operation modes, thermal survey and heat supply system testing for calorific loss, compilation of energy balance for heat rate, system water and electric power. As a result of this work, the company will develop an action plan in order to actualize the power saving potential and put together the heat supply system energy passport.
The project is oriented towards handling important problems – identification of value of actual heat loss in the process of calorific energy transfer along the heat supply system of OAO “Novosibirskgorteploenergo”, exploration of power saving potential, development of measures to implement activities in order to put to practice the identified potential in power saving and enhance energy efficiency of the facility.
Work under the project will be in close collaboration with specialists from Novosibirsk mayor’s office and experts of Novosibirsk region administration.
“Firm ORGRES” has a profound background experience in solving similar tasks – within the latest years, energy surveys were performed at the following facilities: Kashirskaya GRES power plant-4, Shaturskaya GRES-5, Orekhovo-Zuyevskaya CHPP-6, Kostromskaya GRES, Kostromskaya CHPP-2, Novomoskovskaya GRES, Cherepovetskaya GRES, Yaroslavskaya CHPP-2, CHPP-20 of OAO “Mosenergo”, Kaliniskaya Atomic power station, power stations of “Kazakhmys” Corporation in Republic of Kazakhstan, several regional and industrial boiler houses, heat supply systems in the following cities: Ukhta, Syktyvkar, Rostov-on-Don, heat supply systems of Kostromskaya CHPP-2.
