OREANDA-NEWS. May 17, 2010. 300 scholar buses in Kuban region have been equipped with GLONASS receivers in order to maintain safety of passenger children.  All transport vehicles in the region are to be equipped with GLONASS by the end of the year.

Due to the navigational monitoring capability, dispatchers can control the scholar transport constantly in real time. All GLONASS-ed buses are displayed in the interactive map of the region. A bus turns red from green if the speed limit of 60kmph is exceeded, making dispatcher contact the driver to order him about reducing the speed, or to find out аbout the reason for the limit exceeding.
