OREANDA-NEWS. May 14, 2010. The first Lithuania's mobile ATMs start operating during various concerts, exhibitions, fairs, games and other public events. Bank SNORAS can provide this service throughout Lithuania, and after the event ends the mobile ATM can be quickly moved to a different event site in any city within the country, reported the press-centre of Bank SNORAS.

In a mobile ATM, it is possible to perform all basic bank cards operations: checking outstanding balances in the accounts, cashing Litas, Euros and US dollars. "MasterCard" и "VISA" families' cards issued both by SNORAS and by any other bank are serviced in the ATMs.

"Until now encashment operations were unavailable during most events; therefore, following Bank SNORAS philosophy - to be closest to the client, we present on the market this innovation, which will allow the clients to use banking services conveniently and easily," states Zorzas Sarafanovicius, the deputy chairman of the Board, the director of Retail Business Division of AB Bank SNORAS.

According to Z. Sarafanovicius, quite frequently, during various events, people encounter a simple but unpleasant problem - there is no place to cash the money and there is no possibility to pay with the bank cards in the service sale locations.

"I think that this solution opens excellent opportunities for businessmen working during various events, while the service should interest many event organizers," says Z. Sarafanovicius.

The fans of "Metallica" rock group were the first to cash money by using mobile ATMs at "Siemens Arena", during concerts taking place in Vilnius, as well as the visitors of "AgroBalt 2010" international exhibition in "Litexpo" exhibition centre.
