OREANDA-NEWS. From 26 to 28 May, the V International Rail Business Forum "1520 Strategic Partnership" will be held at the Radisson SAS Lazurnaya Hotel in Sochi. Russian Railways is the general partner of the forum, reported the press-centre of Russian Railways.

The jubilee forum will be a key event for the sector in 2010, and a major communication platform for countries using 1520 mm gauge rail tracks (CIS and Baltic countries, Finland, and Mongolia). The participants will include European and Asian partners of the 1520 Area that are leading players on the global transport services market: Alstom Transport (France), Deutsche Bahn AG (Germany), Siemens AG (Germany), Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (Japan), and representatives of the Russian businesses community: ONEXIM Group, IST, Sinara, Troika Dialog, and others.

The main theme of the forum will be "Modernization Strategy in the 1520 Area: Innovation, Investment, Integration, Intellect". The program features new formats for discussions.

On 26 May, a Russian Railways delegation led by the company president, Vladimir Yakunin, plans to visit to Olympic structures being built by the company for the 2014 Winter Games, and to open an exhibition at Sochi station.
