OREANDA-NEWS. May 13, 2010. The I.T. Group of companies participates in Sviaz-Expocomm 2010, the largest exhibition for the IT and telecommunication industry. The I.T. Group of companies will present a full-featured electronic document management system based on Open Source Software and designed for state and municipal authorities.

The 22nd international exhibition Sviaz-Expocomm 2010 will take place on May 11-14, 2010 in Expocenter, Krasnaya Presnya. The main objective of the largest business event is to present to attendees innovative Russian and foreign development trends of the IT industry. The scientificс and technical departments of leading companies will demonstrate to visitors the latest solutions for communications and information.

Currently, the development of integrated information systems for state authorities is among the top priorities of the I.T. Group. I.T. Co. will demonstrate to visitors its prominent solutions, services, and projects for automation in the public sector. The electronic document management system BOSS-Referent 4J, based on Open Source Software, is of special interest.

On I.T. Co.’s stand (pavilion №2, hall 1, stand B20) visitors will have an opportunity to test and appraise the features of BOSS-Referent 4J. The attendees will be able to generate and send requests to a state Ministry and trace all stages of the process: registration, reviewing, and efficient receipt of response back to the citizen. During the demonstration visitors will also have a chance to see the work place of a government official receiving incoming requests, controlling the work of staff, signing orders and executing them. BOSS-Referent 4J has a modern and ergonomic interface, which allows, in particular, to use touch sensor screens and pads, as well as to generate voice message commands and orders. I.T. Co. will also present other ECM solutions of the BOSS-Referent product line based on best-in-class IBM and Microsoft platforms. The BOSS-Referent product line is focused on strategic issues, dealing with management of enterprise information. Thus, for the state authorities it primarily deals with quality of public services, work efficiency of civil servants, and reasonable budget spending on automation.

I.T. Co. will demonstrate solutions for electronic public services, using as reference a system for motor vehicle inspection. The electronic public services will be demonstrated with the help of a portal and information kiosk.

PingWin Software, a member company of the I.T. Group, will present an integrated solution for service desks based on Open Source Software. This solution has already been used while implementing a support system for Open Source Software in Russian schools and has a competitive price due to the open code.

Another group of solutions focuses on centrally controlled data warehouse and integrated business applications based on IBM FileNet, which can significantly improve the performance of business applications and manage unstructured information.
