OREANDA-NEWS. May 13, 2010. Forum "INRYBPROM: the development of fish-breeding in the North-West of Russia" significantly enlarges the list of discussed themes upon the suggestion of the North-West territorial Department of the State Fishing Agency. Due to these changes the event will change its' name into "Forum: the development of fishing industry of the North-West of Russia".

The Plenipotentionary representative of the President of Russian Federation in the North-West Federal District, North-West Territorial Department of the Federal Fishing Agency and some profile companies of the North-West region have already announced their intention to support the event.

Forum program will contain scheduled international scientific and research conference, seminars, round tables discussions, consultations, presentations, a specialized exhibition and visits to the fish-breeding enterprises of the Leningrad Region.

Organizers say that much attention will be paid to the questions of State policy in the sphere of fish industry development, ecological issues, reproduction of biological resources and aquaculture. There also will be aroused questions on recycling, sales, logistics and other problems.

Specialists form Denmark, Norway and Finland are expected to attend the event.

"Forum: the development of fishing industry of the North-West of Russia" will take place in "Lenexpo" exhibition complex on June 3-6, 2010 together with Baltic Sea Festival - the exhibition of yachts, motor-boats, equipment and accessories for water sports, fishing, tourism and leisure.
