OREANDA-NEWS. May 13, 2010. Ukio bankas has begun distribution of payment cards bearing VISA logo. Four VISA cards are introduced to the market by Ukio bankas: VISA Platinum, VISA Business Gold, VISA Classic and VISA Electron, reported the press-centre of Ukio bankas.

Ukio bankas is the third bank of Lithuania offering prestigious VISA Platinum cards to its clients. Up to now, Ukio bankas has been offering MasterCard scheme cards to its clients and acted as an intermediary for the clients wishing to acquire prestigious American Express payment cards.

„From now on, our clients will be able to choose the most attractive option from the most popular cards – VISA, MasterCard or American Express. Taking into account, that MasterCard schemes prevail in some countries of the world and VISA scheme cards in the others, we will offer our clients a possibility to acquire cards of different schemes linked to one account. This will enable the client to feel safe in case of loss, blocking or leaving one of the cards in ATM ,” – admitted Jurate Kajackiene, Director of Ukio bankas Payment Cards Department.

VISA – is one of the most famous and most easily recognized logos. VISA Platinum and VISA Business Gold are prestigious cards, representing status of the holder, with a large package of additional benefits and services. VISA Classic is a classical credit card necessary when traveling, paying online and in other places where debit payment cards are not accepted. VISA Electron is an electronic debit card suitable for daily use, transfer of salary and payment at sales and service points.
