E4-SibCOTES Implements ISTOK-SBK at Novosibirsk CHP-3 Plant
OREANDA-NEWS. May 12, 2010. E4-SibCOTES implements its in-house software system ISTOK-SBK at Novosibirsk CHP-3 plant (JSC Novosibirskenergo).
Information system for plant process control (ISTOK) is designed for data collection, presentation, calculation and analysis of parameters, engineering and economical performance, operating modes and technological processes of power facilities.
The state-of-the-art software system is based on Microsoft.NET platform. It is characterized by diverse data sources (SQL DB, ОРС DB, etc.) that can be updated on the customer’s request, flexible user rights setting, convenient system for adjustment of equipment output performance and calculation algorithms for engineering and economical performance, implementation of process algorithms of any complexity developed by specialists from E4-SibCOTES or provided by the customer.
Application of ISTOK-SBK software system allows us to integrate heterogeneous automation systems, to provide information on plant performance to the technical management and as a result to reduce specific fuel consumption due to the optimization of equipment configuration and operation modes.
At present ISTOK-SBK software is introduced at Verkhnetagilskaya GRES, Astrakhanskaya CHP-2 plant and Nazarovskaya GRES with implementation of process algorithms for these power stations developed by the specialists from E4-SibCOTES.
The software system at Verkhnetagilskaya GRES serves for calculation of actual and standard indicators of the power station. All the information is entered from the keyboard.
E4-SibCOTES software system at Nazarovskaya GRES collects data from unit control boards, heat meters produced by Logika company and Firebird database. The software system displays on-line mnemocircuits from unit control boards and diagrams with process-dependent parameters.
ISTOK-SBK software system at Astrakhanskaya CHP-2 plant collects technological data and calculates engineering and economical performance. The data is collected from five servers (four power unit databases and one heating system database). The acquired data is used for the calculation of engineering and economical performance of the power station.
It is proposed to collect data from automated measuring and information systems for electric power fiscal metering, heat power fiscal metering and other systems at Novosibirsk CHP-3 plant. Further this data will be used together with information entered from the keyboard for the calculation of engineering and economical performance and presented to the power station management.
