The UX reopened yesterday after the long weekend with a 3.62% gain to 2,186.07, falling short of making up for its 9.00% drop on Friday. Equity turnover on the index came to USD 73.9 mln, with the leaders banking heavyweights Raiffeisen Bank Aval (BAVL UK), up 6.38%, and Ukrsotsbank (USCB UK), up 2.97% - both trading over UAH 6.0 mln. The PFTS dropped 0.27% on the day to 867.59. On the interbank forex market, the hryvnya closed again at UAH/USD 7.925.
