OREANDA-NEWS. May 12, 2010. The 8th Arbitration Appeal Court upheld the decision of the Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service in the Omsk region (the Omsk OFAS Russia) about imposing a 8,103,790 Ruble fine upon "Omskvodokanal" OJSC, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

On 18th March 2009, the Commission of the Omsk OFAS Russia found that "Omskvodokanal" OJSC violated Part 1 Article 10 of the Federal Law "On Protection of Competition". "Omskvodokanal" OJSC abused its dominance on the market of water supply and disposal services in Omsk and evaded a contract with "MTS Service" Ltd. for potable water delivery and waste water and pollutants collection in provision of water supply and disposal services to a residential house in Omsk.
