Moscow Hosts World Congress of IAA
OREANDA-NEWS. On 12-14 May 2010, Moscow for the first time hosts the World Congress of the International Advertising Association (IAA), reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.
As the 42nd IAA World Congress takes place under the patronage of the Government of the Russian Federation and the City of Moscow Government, the Congress sessions are being held within the Kremlin, in the State Palace Congress Center.
The Co-Chairs of the National Congress Organizing Committee are the Head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service Igor Artemyev, and the Mayor of Moscow Yuri Luzhkov. The Chairman of the Executive Board of National Congress Organizing Committee: Deputy Head of the Mayor of Moscow in the City of Moscow Government Mr. Baidakov.
The largest venue in the global communication industry involving over 1500 delegates from 70 countries focuses on important changes in the industry caused by such factors as global economic recession, development of digital technology, changing consumer patterns, etc.
The Congress provides the platform for interaction between professionals - representatives of all sectors of communication industry" the largest global advertisers, industry regulators and self-regulatory bodies, small and medium business, communication groups and media-holdings.

Since 1949, IAA World Congress takes place every two years and involves representatives of the leading participants of the global communication market. The Congress discusses pressing issues of strategic development of the communication industry, the leadings experts from all over the world exchange knowledge and experience in the field.
