OREANDA-NEWS. May 07, 2010. An increase in all monetary aggregates was observed in March 2010: monetary aggregates M1, M2, and M3 went up respectively by LTL 509.7 million, LTL 7.9 million, and LTL 87.9 million. Net external assets of monetary financial institutions (MFIs), i.e. external assets less external liabilities) went down over the month by LTL 1.3 billion after increasing in February by LTL 3.7 billion, reported the press-centre of Bank of Lithuania.       

Other MFIs’ lending to residents, excluding MFIs, declined in March by LTL 1.1 billion, while lending in euros accounting at the end of the month for 69.9% of total lending.
