OREANDA-NEWS. May 06, 2010. The Azerbaijani Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies  in the course of  good development of events plans to turn  Azerpocht institution into banking system, which will be capable to compete with the  banks.

On May 6, Minister of Communications and Information Technologies  Ali Abbasov said that  post offices have already started to render primary services.

“Azerpocht will begin functioning  as normal banking system till the end of this year. We think, if work is carried out normally, Azerpocht will work as a competitive institution   in banking  system in two years,”  minister said.
