OREANDA-NEWS. May 6, 2010. Ingosstrakh paid insurance indemnity in the amount of 5.3 mln rubles to a company engaged in supply and servicing of restaurants, cafes, bars and hotels.

On the night between December 26 and December 27, 2009 a fire occurred in the insured’s warehouse located in Moscow. The fire was discovered at about 00.00. The first fire brigade arrived at 00.11. The fire was extinguished by 12 fire brigades. At 01.15 it was fully extinguished.

As a consequence of the fire, the merchandise inventory of ceramic, glass and metallic dishware, cutlery and tools, syrups etc. were partially destroyed and damaged.

According to the order to dismiss criminal complaint, the fire was caused by emergency operation of the electric circuit of a luminescent lamp.

The damage was assessed by the survey organization Cunningham Lindsey Russia.
