OREANDA-NEWS. May 06, 2010. As it was informed in the National bureau of Statistics, the amount of construction-mounting works in January-March 2010 totaled 428,6 million leis (USD34 million), decreasing as compared to the same period of 2009 by 28,6%.

The main funding sources of the investment activity in Moldova in I quarter of 2010 were own means of economic agents and population (63,5% of the total) as well as foreign investment (23,5%). The investment into fixed capital from the budget amounted to only 5% of the total or 2,8% less than at the same period of 2009.

The analysis of investments into fixed capital on the forms of the ownership shows that the investment activity in Moldova was the most active in the private companies which share accounted for 66,9% of the total investment.

The share of the state companies made 33,1%. As it was reported before, the investments into fixed capital in Moldova in 2009 amounted to 10 billion 818,9 million leis (USD 858,6 million), up 34,9% as compared to 2008.
