Commenting on his recent visit to Washington and meetings with the senior representatives from the U.S. Treasury, the president of NBM Dorin Dragutanu noted that the leadership of the U.S. Treasury has decided to provide the National Bank with the technical assistance to improve the financial stability of the country.

The parties have also signed a memorandum-agreement and the consultant of the U.S. Treasury has already started work in NBM. The President of the National Bank Dorin Dragutanu has conducted a visit to the U.S. from 22 to 25 April to attend the spring session of IMF and the World Bank. In Washington, he will meet with senior representatives of IMF, the World Bank and the U.S. Treasury.
