OREANDA-NEWS. May 05, 2010. Information Agency "RBC" reflects the financial results of Orient Express Bank as follows, reported the press-centre of Orient Express Bank:

the 7th place in size of Unsecured Loan Portfolio;

the 43rd place in volume of SME Loan Portfolio;

the 45th place in number of issued plastic cards;

the 59th place in Net assets (the 78th place for the previous year);

the 87th place in Liquid assets (the 121st place in the previous year);

the 46th place in size of Loan Portfolio (the 49th place in the previous year);

the 22nd place in volume of loans to individuals;

the 49th place in volume of deposit portfolio;

the 12th place in number and the 18th place in volume of individuals’  deposit portfolio;

the 55th place in volume of securities held;

the 44th place in number of cash-in machines;

the 12th place in number and the 18th place in volume of loans for an automobile purchase;

the 57th place in Equity.

In 2009 the volume of originated loans to individuals was reduced almost twice in Russia in comparison with the previous year. Notwithstanding the determined negative dynamics Orient Express Bank has succeeded to multiply the volume of loans by 65% and its loan portfolio amounted to 25 billion Roubles. This is the only bank in TOP-10 that shows the increase in volume of originated unsecured loans.

According to RBC data Orient Express Bank holds 6% volume of unsecured loan portfolio in Russia.

The Bank is also entered the TOP-20 Banks that are leaders in disbursement of auto loans. Orient Express has developed special programs for this sector of lending (opportunity to buy new or used car, to receive a loan in Russian Roubles or in US Dollars or Euro).

The 12th place in the rating of deposit portfolio shows that population is confident in the Bank’s stability and the determined by the Management strategy of further development was chosen correctly.
