OREANDA-NEWS. May 05, 2010. 20 young specialists from Rospan International (part of TNK-BP) presented their projects at a conference devoted to research and practice at the unit. The jury, consisting of managers from the unit’s relevant sections and departments, determined the best work in five areas, reported the press-centre of TNK-BP.

The largest number of reports was presented in Geology and Field Development. The winner was Vladimir Borisov, a senior specialist from the Modeling and Database Section of the Geology and Field Development Department. He presented a report called “The relevance of applying a system of inflow profile modification at the Bolshekhetskoe field”.

In IT and Automation of Operations, telecommunications engineer Dmitri Chayutaev and specialist Svetlana Rybakova from the Metrology, Automation and Communications section won first place for their joint report on “Building a network for collection and transmission of data from well clusters”. Senior specialists from the Survey and Authorization Section of the Capital Construction Department Alexander Troshin and Vasilina Bassauer won in the Infrastructure Facilities and Capital Construction Section. Evgeny Martynov’s “Technology for preparing hydrocarbons at the Vostochno-Urengoiskiy and Novo-Urengoiskiy licensed areas” report earned a citation from the jury and won first place for the Oil and Gas Production Section. Galina Dogonasheva, a specialist from the Contract Administration Section, won in the Economics, Finance, Accounting Section with her report “Analysis and modernization of the interactive system by integrating planning processes, performance management and monitoring at Rospan International.”

Representatives from each section of the competition’s commission noted that the young specialists were well prepared and thanked them for presenting at the conference. The winners will take part in the regional stage of the conference on research and practice for young specialists from TNK-BP subsidiaries in TNK-BP Siberia’s area of responsibilities, and will be held in Tyumen in June.
