Venezuelan Oil Comes to Belarus on Schedule
OREANDA-NEWS. May 04, 2010. The implementation of the project on the Venezuelan oil deliveries to Belarus runs on schedule, Prime Minister of Belarus Sergei Sidorsky stated at a session at the Mozyr Oil Refinery on 3 May. The session highlighted the development of the country’s oil refining industry.
Two trainloads of the Venezuelan oil arrived at the Mozyr Oil Refinery from the Odessa port on 3 May in the morning.
According to the Prime Minister, Venezuela’s low-sulphur oil will secure high-quality light oil products. “The products will be exported jointly with the Venezuelan partners,” Sergei Sidorsky added.
The two sides are now busy with setting up a joint company. At first the amount of oil coming from Venezuela will make up 4 million tonnes. It can double in the future.
